  • If you don't see your receipt or all your tolls, there may have been delays in posting tolls by the Transportation Agency to the transponder in the vehicle you were driving. Please allow at least 5 business days for the posting of all tolls.
  • Please note, for customers who have recently rented their vehicle in Texas or Colorado, it might take up to 3 weeks before your receipt can be generated.
  • Please note, for customers who have recently rented their vehicle in Florida, it might take up to 1 month before your receipt can be generated.
  • If you've already been charged on your credit card and your receipt does not appear, please call Customer Service at  877-860-1284.

  • How long does it take until I receive my toll charges?


The amount of time it takes for the state to notify us of any toll charges can vary from state to state. In example the state of NY & NJ can take 2-3 weeks. Colorado can take 4-6 weeks and Texas and Florida can take up to 6 weeks. In general charges can appear 60 days after the rental vehicle is returned.

  • Why am I being charged a daily convenience fee?


Daily convenience fees cover the administrative cost associated with processing and handling toll charges.

  • Why does my charge have a “NY” code?


The description of the charges states “NY” as the billing code because New York is where our billing department is located. This does not necessarily pertain to where the toll charges were incurred.

  • What do I do if I miss a toll in ILLINOIS?


If a toll is missed in Illinois, you have a 7-day grace period to make a payment directly to the state. Payment can be made on http://www.Illinoistollway.com. If a payment is not made within the given time frame, please contact the Illinois Citations department (630) 693-2930.

  • What do I do if I miss a toll in the NORTHEAST states?


If tolls are missed in one of the Northeast States, it will now be considered a citation. For disputes and further assistance, please contact the following number: 1-800-935-0112.

  • Is there a difference between the rates your company charges vs. the rates I would pay using my own toll tag device?


We charge our customers the cash rate for tolls; this rate can be higher as it does not include any toll tag discounts.

  • What do I do if I received an invoice that includes an administrative fee?


Customer’s receiving these invoices can contact the Citations Department at the following number: 1-800-935-0112.

  • How do I make a payment online?


To successfully make a payment online, please follow the following instructions: Please visit http://www.htallc.com/Alamo

Select View Receipt and Online Payment options. Once on the Itemized Receipt Request page enter last name and credit card information or you may use your contract number to locate your receipt. Once your receipt is located select the link that says “Pay Now” and follow the onscreen instructions.

Please Note: Your contract number is the same as the rental agreement number found on your invoice.

  • How do I enroll in the Automated Receipt Program?


You can enroll in the automated receipt program by visiting our website at http://www.htallc.com/Alamo, then select the View Receipt option on our home page. Once on the Itemized Receipt Request page, select the link that says “Click here to receive future receipts automatically directly to your email". Once enrolled anytime the credit card you used to enroll is used for a rental car with Alamo an automated receipt for tolls will automatically be sent to your e-mail.
